The spirit of patriotism echoed through the corridors and open grounds of Vydehi School of Excellence, as students, teachers and staff gathered on Friday, 26 January 2024, to celebrate the Republic Day with fervour and enthusiasm. The day commenced with the solemn and proud moment of the national flag being hoisted, symbolizing the essence of our democratic nation.

The morning sun illuminated the faces of Vydehians, their eyes gleaming with pride, as the dignitaries and the Headmistresses of the School, unfurled the tricolour amidst the resonating notes of the national anthem.

The day resonated with the essence of inclusivity, as students from different grades collaborated to organize and participate in various events, like songs & dances. One of the highlights of the event was the heartfelt speeches delivered by students, both in English & Hindi, addressing the significance of Republic Day, the principles of justice and equality, and the responsibilities of being responsible citizens. These speeches were not just eloquent expressions but powerful reminders of the importance of preserving the democratic fabric that defines our nation.

The celebrations concluded with the singing of the National song & finally with the distribution of sweets, symbolizing the sweetness of unity and diversity that defines our great nation. As the students dispersed, the echoes of the national pledge lingered, reminding each individual of their duty towards building a progressive and harmonious India.
