Dating back to 3000 BC, the origins of geometry can be traced to ancient Egypt. Geometry is crucial because it helps us understand and describe the fundamental properties of the physical world, enabling us to solve real-world problems, design structures, and advance various fields, including science, engineering, and art.
To bring out the importance of shapes to every child, through the exploration of symmetry and patterns, Vydehi school of Excellence has conducted the CCA Activity on Wednesday 07-08-2024, for the month of August on the topic, ‘Calculation Carnival’ for Grade 7 where the students created composite shapes or designed their own unique shapes thereby fostering critical thinking, problem-solving skills, with an appreciation for the beauty of Mathematics.
