On June 17, 2025, students of Grade 5H & 5N at Vydehi School of Excellence delivered a powerful special assembly titled: “The Double-Edged Sword: How Social Media Boosts and Breaks Mental Well-being” 🎭📲

🔹 A gripping skit portrayed how Alyssa’s growing dependence on social media impacted her emotional balance.
🔹 A mime act creatively emphasised the loss of real human connections in a tech-driven world.
🔹 The catchy theme song “Be Safe from Social Media” gave the message a musical twist 🎶
🔹 A talk show brought diverse voices together—teenagers, parents, psychologists, and influencers, sharing their take on the pros and cons of screen time.
🔹 Parents even stepped in to share their stories—adding warmth and wisdom!
🔹 The assembly ended on a high note with a vibrant hip-hop performance, celebrating real-life joy beyond the screen. 🎵💃
🧠💬 The entire program reminded us that while social media can build bridges, real connection and mental wellness start from within.
