👗🌿 Fashion with Compassion | Grade 5A & 5J Special Assembly 💚

Where Style Speaks, and Compassion Walks the Ramp!

On July 1st, 2025, the students of Grade 5A and 5J at Vydehi School of Excellence redefined the runway with an inspiring special assembly titled “Fashion with Compassion, A Step Towards a Kinder Future.” 🌍✨

From moving performances to eco-friendly fashion, the entire event focused on raising awareness about ethical and sustainable fashion.

🎭 The assembly opened with a powerful skit exposing the harsh truths of animal-based fashion.

📝 A poem followed, beautifully redefining the word FASHION as a tool for empathy and change.

💃 A dance performance depicted the emotional journey of animals and the healing power of kindness.

👠 The grand finale, “A Cruelty-Free Fashion Show”, saw our young Vydehians walk

The ramp wearing or representing:

🍍 Piñatex • 🌵 Cactus Leather • 🍄 Mushroom Leather • 🌳 Cork Leather • 🥥 Malai (Coconut waste) • 👜 Zouk (Indian vegan leather)
Each child held placards with bold slogans like “Style Doesn’t Need Suffering” and “Be Cool, Go Cruelty-Free.” 🕊️

“Real fashion isn’t just worn, it’s felt in every kind of choice we make.”
