“The first rule of sustainability is to align with natural force, or at least not to try to defy them.”
Vydehi School of Excellence hosted a CCA competition on 18th June, 2024 for grade 5 students on the theme of “Innovative Ideas for Sustainable Packaging”. The objective was to encourage students to come up with creative and eco-friendly packaging solutions.
The participants were judged on three criteria – the sample model they created, the presentation of their ideas, and their overall communication and clarity.
The students showcased a wide range of innovative packaging concepts, ranging from biodegradable materials like banana leaves and bamboo to reusable containers made from recycled plastics. Many of the designs focused on reducing waste, minimizing the use of non-renewable resources, and promoting a circular economy.
The competition was a great success, with all the participants demonstrating a strong understanding of sustainable practices and a commitment to finding eco-friendly alternatives to traditional packaging. The event not only encouraged the students to think critically about environmental issues but also showcased their excellent presentation and communication skills.
Vydehi School of Excellence is proud of the efforts and achievements of its grade 5 students, and the CCA competition has set a high standard for future such events. Upon the conclusion of the CCA Competition, the results were announced and certificates were awarded to recognize the top three positions- 1st ,2nd and 3rd places.
