Tiny Seeds, Tasty Treats | Pre-Primary Germination Activity!

Our Pre-Primary children at Vydehi School of Excellence enjoyed a fun germination activity with fenugreek (methi) seeds. They sowed the seeds, watched them sprout into fresh green leaves, and excitedly plucked, rinsed, and dried them once they were ready.

Next came the exciting part – Methi Chapati Making!

Children mixed the chopped fenugreek leaves into wheat flour, kneaded soft dough, and helped prepare their own healthy chapatis – discovering how a tiny seed can turn into tasty food.

This simple plant-to-plate experience helped children understand the complete journey – from planting a seed to tasting the wholesome chapati made from it. They also learned about the wonderful nutritional benefits of fenugreek, making the activity both fun and educational.
